With the right therapist fit, therapy can be an active and supportive space for tremendous growth during difficult moments.
I provide Relational and Attachment based therapy to adults on a variety of issues but focus especially on traumatic experiences, issues within attachments or relationships, and anxiety and depression.
I also offer Couples Counseling using an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) framework. In couples work I provide a collaborative space to repair and rebuild your relationship with better understanding of emotions, needs, and patterns.
As an Attachment specialist, my focus is to help you understand your foundational life learnings regarding connection, the impact on you, and the patterns that were created. Attachment theory argues that many problems we face as adults today are rooted in these foundational lessons about connection and promotes positive changes through the knowledge and reworking of your patterns.
As a Relational specialist, I understand that your connection to your therapist is arguably the number one indicator of success in your therapy work. This means each person's need for connection follows them into the therapeutic relationship with me as their therapist as well. Because of this, my work is also highly relational. It is not only important to me that I to listen to you, but equally so that I engage with you in a meaningful and connective way throughout each session.
Through Attachment and Relational focuses, you should expect sessions to become a space for you to talk about anything that you need to alongside someone who's genuinely engaging and dedicated to your therapeutic progress.
