With the right provider fit, therapy can serve as an active and supportive space promoting tremendous growth during life's difficult moments.
I provide therapy to adults on a variety of issues but focus especially on trauma, anxiety and depression, as well as issues with loved ones and in relationships.
I have advanced training in Attachment, Relational, and Psychodynamic theories which believe that many problems we face as adults today are rooted in foundational learnings in younger years and from traumatic events. These approaches provide positive life changes through building a much more honest and conscious knowledge of yourself, while also helping you learn how to rework your repetitive, protective patterns. As a specialist in these complimentary focuses, my goal is to help you understand yourself in the deepest way where change can actually start to occur.
Through Relational Theory, I understand that your connection to your therapist is arguably the number one indicator of success in your therapy work. This means each person's need for trusted, reliable connection follows them into their sessions with me as well. Because of this, my work is equally listening to what you're really saying (and not saying!) while also engaging with you in a meaningful, connective, but actively working kind of way throughout each session.
You should expect therapy to be a space for you to talk about anything that you need to alongside someone who is genuinely and actively dedicated to your therapeutic progress.
